Morris Hutchins Ruger was an American composer, author, and teacher. He taught at many institutions including several small southern schools; the School of Music at Brenau College; the Community College in San Bernardino, California; the Los Angeles Conservatory of Music and Arts; Long Beach City College; and California State University at Long Beach.
